Teddy and Fred pulled up the driveway with Teddy in the passenger seat. He rested his head against the window, his heart pounding. His high was wearing off, but he couldn't back out now.

"There's a ninety-nine point five percent chance that I'll kill you. I didn't drive all the way out here for nothin', man," Fred said as he opened the driver's side door.

"I know, right? And fuck no I'm not. I'm gonna smoke a cigarette and my window doesn't roll down," Fred replied, taking his pack of cigarettes from his jeans pocket. "You better hustle. Time's wastin'," he added, tapping his nonexistent watch.

Teddy groaned and walked towards the front door. He rang the doorbell and waited.

April, who'd been watching TV on the couch, sighed and walked to the door in her pajamas. She opened the door and raised her eyebrows at Teddy. "Hey, Teddy. What's up?" She asked as nonchalantly as possible considering it was the middle of the night.

Teddy's eyes widened when April opened the door. He felt his heart pound harder against his chest than it ever had before. "Um," he began as he looked down at his shoes. He finally lifted his bloodshot eyes and somewhat dilated pupils to meet hers. "I need to...I need to talk to you."
