Quentin nodded and hesitated for a moment before taking a shot glass for himself. "Yeah," he said before gulping down the shot. He winced slightly at the unfamiliar burn in the back of his throat.

"Oh," Quentin said, resting one hand on his bar stool as if to keep himself from falling off. In reality he was digging his nails into the foam part of the seat in an attempt to stop himself from digging his nails into his palms, which he usually did when he was nervous. "I'm a senior in high school. I'm going to graduate, um, soon."

"I know you're not a serial killer," Quentin said, his heart rate increasing slightly. That was probably the longest sentence he'd uttered to someone in the past three years. He didn't know if he should explain that he was just an anxious person or if he should just leave it at that. "I just, um, I'm not used to this. Socializing, I mean."

"Yeah, well, that's the problem. They're the best I can do. No one else wants me around," Q said, knocking back another shot, not even wincing this time. "They only took me in 'cause they're weak and they pity me for my lack of social skills. You know the extras in the movies? The people who don't have a speaking part or any real part in the film, they're in the background? That's pretty much what I am. I don't have a real part in anyone's lives. I'm just...there."
